Rogersville City Park

Consists of forty-two acres of recreational facilities including: three pavilions, four lighted tennis courts, three pavilions, two multi-purpose fields, stage, walking trail, playground, fishing/duck pond, two outdoor basketball courts, horseshoe pits, six baseball/softball fields with a concession stand, public swimming pool, sand volleyball court, fenced in dog park and an eighteen-hole disc golf course. Bathrooms are closed during the winter months.

Swift Mini Park

Five-acre park located on Hasson Street with an outdoor basketball court, picnic shelter, bathrooms, playground area, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, open play area, and walking trail. Bathrooms are closed during the winter months

Parks and Recreation Building

Party room with kitchen and bathrooms available to rent for small events. Cost is $15/ hour (minimum of 3 hours) + refundable damage deposit. Not available on major holidays or when other events are scheduled. Must be reserved in advance.

City Park Pavilions

Three pavilions are available for rental on a daily basis from April-November at a cost of $50/day. Not available Heritage Days weekend or during the Fourth of July celebration. Must be reserved in advance.

City Park Stage Area

Cost is $100/day + refundable damage deposit. Must be reserved in advance. Not available Heritage Days weekend or during the Fourth of July celebration.

out of season call the parks and recreation office at 423-272-2545.

 

The Rogersville City Pool opens Memorial Day weekend and operates daily through the start of school in August.

Daily General Admission Hours are Monday-Saturday 12pm-6pm; Sunday 1pm-6pm.

Daily Admission is $4; Seasonal punch card are available at $75 for 30 visits.

Swimming Lessons are typically offered in two-week sessions. Please call the Parks and Recreation office to inquire about dates and registration information.

Private Rentals are scheduled most evenings throughout the summer from 7pm-9pm. Fees as of 2022 are:

  • 50 people or less ($125 Rental Fee + 2 Lifeguards at $30 cash each; due the night of the rental)
  • 51-75 people ($160 Rental Fee + 3 Lifeguards at $30 cash each; due the night of the rental)
  • 76-100 people ($160 Rental Fee + 4 Lifeguards at $30 cash each; due the night of the rental)
  • 101-150 people ($220 Rental Fee + 4 Lifeguards at $30 cash each; due the night of the rental)
  • 150+ people (must receive approval from the Parks and Recreation Department)

 

Ongoing Activities and Youth Leagues

 

Baseball/Softball (Ages 4 and Up)

Registration begins in mid-February and ends mid-March. Registration fee is $30. Season typically begins in April and ends in June.

Flag Football (Ages 5-10)

Registration begins in mid-July and ends in mid-August. Season typically begins in September and ends in October.

Basketball (Ages 5 and Up)

Registration begins in early October and ends in late October. Season typically begins in mid-November and ends in February.

Music Junction

Musicians/entertainers get together weekly at the Parks and Recreation Building on Thursdays from 7-10 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.

Christmas Lights

Christmas lights are on display throughout the Rogersville City Park during the month of December.

The Rogersville City Offices will be closed on March 29th, 2024 for Good Friday. The garbage for Friday will be picked up on Thursday March 28th, 2024. Please have the garbage out by 7:00 a.m. Town of Rogersville TN meetings for April 9th, 2024 The Park Board at 6:00, Water Comm. at 6:30 p.m. and the B.M.A. at 7:00 p.m. will be held at the Rogersville City Hall Board Room.
