Heritage Days

Rogersville’s historic town square, quaint shops, and historic homes provide an incredible festival setting for Heritage Days – the annual (held every October) celebration of Rogersville’s unique heritage. The festival showcases Appalachian music, storytelling, dancers, special events for children, demonstrations of pioneer skills, antique quilts, cars and farm equipment, a juried craft show, and a food court to whet everyone's appetite!

Shakespeare & Friends Renaissance Faire

Travel back to a time when Kings and Queens ruled the land. Visit the Kings stage for performances of Celtic Music, Fire Breathing, Belly Dancing, Puppetry and Comedy. Visit the marketplace for rare and beautiful objects brought from lands near and far. Listen to music, "sweet to the ear" and feast on foods common to the time. Watch our jousters challenge each other on the tournament field. Beware the pirates for they practice much mischief and mayhem. Local Artist Gallery

The Local Artist Gallery features 30 local artisan featuring fine arts and crafts. Art includes print, jewelry, photography, sculptures of wood, stone, and mental, or shop for practical art such as quilts brooms, furniture and pottery. The Gallery also offers demonstrations and classes throughout the year. The Gallery is located on 124 East Main Street.

Cruise-In on the Square

Join car enthusiasts on Main Street Rogersville! See pre-1980 restored classic cars at this popular event. Stroll the streets, shop, and have dinner at one of our many locally owned restaurants. Live musical entertainment is also provided. These events take place from May through October.

4th of July Celebration

An annual tradition - the largest Independence Day Fireworks display in a five state area! It's a day filled with music, a parade, sporting events, concessions, a car show, and of course the fireworks. You can read all about it on their website.
